Weidner & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a distributor of process equipment, instrumentation, and controls across Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada, serving markets including food & beverage, mining, oil & gas, and water/wastewater.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, David Weidner grew the company by adding new product lines and expanding its sales force. In the 1990's, the company began offering industrial safety equipment and, later, firefighting equipment. In 2004, Weidner officially established a dedicated division to serve industrial workers and the fire service, Weidner Fire.
In 2017, Weidner launched its Plant Services division, focused on hygienic and sanitary equipment preventive maintenance for the food & beverage and life sciences industries. What began as a regional service offering in the Intermountain West has since expanded nationwide, and today Weidner provides sanitary equipment maintenance and equipment solutions to leading dairy, beverage, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical companies across the country.
In 2024, after 21 years of operation, Weidner sold its firefighting equipment division, Weidner Fire, to SeaWestern — sharpening the company's focus on the national expansion of its Hygienic Equipment Services and Process Equipment businesses, serving food & beverage and life sciences customers alongside its mining, oil & gas, and water/wastewater base.Weidner is headquartered in Midvale, Utah.
